Used with the Flexible Wall Permeability Control Panel and auxiliary panels as required, to carry out triaxial permeability tests.
The cell has a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi. All aluminium parts are anodised for corrosion resistance. Valves are Whitey and fittings are Swagelok. The cell has brass valves and fittings.
The sample caps are acrylic and each has two drain ports and a groove for sealing the membrane. The top cap has quick connect fitting (finger tightening - no wrench) for ease of assembly. The chamber top has a quick connect for venting while filling with water. This also allows for quick draining. The pedestal has flow through lines and is keyed to prevent turning and pinching the tubing during installation. All pedestals are interchangeable.
SL335 supplied as:
4.0" Test Chamber with 2.8" cap, pedestal porous stones, sealing O-rings and brass valves.
