Where a small fluctuation in cell pressure can be tolerated, such as in quick undrained testing, a simple but effective foot pump and air/water cylinder may be used.

Impact's 1000 kPa capacity Air/Water Cylinder is supplied complete with a pressure gauge and foot pump. All necessary tubing for connection to the triaxial cell is also included.

An alternative system is our Oil/Water constant pressure device, which has more accuracy and can also be used for drained testing. See SL620.
