The digital cone penetrometer gives a readout of the penetration values on a 5 digit LCD display.
Readings are in mm and inches, with a 0.1mm resolution, zero set in any position.
The unit consists of:
- Aluminium base with levelling screws and spirit level.
- Chromed vertical rod with micrometric vertical displacement device.
- 5 digit LCD display.
- Brass slider, with free fall, stop and release push button, automatic zero set.
- Two brass cups 55 x 35mm and 70 x 45mm.
- Penetration test cone, stainless steel. 35mm long, 30°angle.
Power: 1.5V battery.
