The exterior case is manufactured in painted steel sheet with a stainless steel bath. It can hold up to 12 Le Chatelier moulds in a removable rack. The bath reaches boiling point in approximately 30 minutes.

A device maintains the bath temperature at boiling point by avoiding water evaporation and ensuring that the moulds remain covered by water during the test.
