Originally designed by the British Cement Association this system comprises a strain cylinder of 2000kN capacity, a four channel digital readout unit and software for data processing and analysis.

Used to evaluate the performance/stability of compression load frames for testing concrete cubes.

The hardened steel strain cylinder is fitted with four balanced strain gauge bridges each designed to be monitored by a separate panel meter. The digital meter has "freeze” facility, calibration facility and zero adjustment and the Windows download software calculates the measured strain ratios 

Each system comprises : strain cylinder, 4-channel read-out, auxiliary hardened steel loading platen, 6mm spacing slips, mains lead, connecting lead, instruction manual and software disks.
