This four column test machine is designed as a single workspace for testing various materials. It can perform tension, compression, bending and shearing tests. Force measurement is through a load cell. With a long travel actuator stroke, it is suitable to test both standard and longer specimens.

Standards

  • Load meets or exceeds the following standards: ASTM E4, ISO7500-1, EN 10002-2, BS1610 and DIN 51221.
  • Strain measurement meets or exceeds the following standards: ASTM E83, ISO 9513, BS 3846 and EN 10002-4.
  • Compatible to the standards ASTM A370, ASTM A615 and EN 10002.

External Digital Controller

The machine is controlled by an external digital controller (EDC). The EDC is widely used for test machines with high configuration or requirements. The EDC is a built-in unit without keys or a display and has been designed for static and dynamic test instruments. It features as stable control, high accurate measuring and high sampling rate (1 kHz~5 kHz) etc. Also, it has self-identification & self-calibration functions. All the measuring channels for the basic test machine, as well as an output channel to control an actuator, are on- board. The EDC has two I2-Bus-Extension-Slots that may be used for equipment such as extensometers. The on-board load channel of the EDC has a resolution of ±180,000 steps.
