This apparatus is used to determine the breaking point of semi-solid and solid bitumens.

It consists of a flexure device with two concentric sliding resin tubes, jaws for the test specimen, flexure system with handle, cooling device with three containers, plate in special harmonic steel, and a thermometer IP 42C.
